Agenda

  • SB 69 (Langerholc) – Establishes the Recovery to Work program, to be administered by the Department of Labor and Industry, to empower local workforce development boards, business partners and participating program partners to develop local pilot programs to provide individuals in addiction recovery with career development opportunities and exposure to high-priority and in-demand occupations and interview and soft skills training.
    • Amendment A00816 (Robinson) – Adds the Opioid Settlement Restricted Account as a potential funding source, adds registered apprenticeship programs as optional program partners, increases the amount of time an individual needs to be employed and sets a wage threshold for employers to receive incentive payments for hiring program participants.
  • SB 756 (Robinson) – Amends the Stuffed Toy Manufacturing Act to allow the use of recycled materials in stuffed toys sold in Pennsylvania and updates labeling requirements.
