SB 262 (SCHWANK) Amends the Maternal Mortality Review Act to require the Maternal Mortality Review Committee to categorize maternal deaths and severe maternal morbidity complications as reportable events and include each reportable event to the department in an annual report. OVER AS AMENDED.
          A00727 (SCHWANK) Strikes language requiring the reporting of maternal deaths and severe maternal morbidity complications to the Committee while requiring the Committee to publish severe maternal morbidity data using hospitalization discharge data obtained from the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council in an annual public report. AGREED-TO.

SB 453 (PHILLIPS-HILL) Amends Titles 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) and 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to make technical changes to address recent DUI court cases, as well as to improve how ignition interlock is installed and managed. PASSED 48-1.

SB 24 (DISANTO) Amends the Fiscal Code to allow the State Treasurer to automatically return unclaimed property to sole owners of property when the value of the property or proceeds is less than $5,000 irrespective of whether or not a claim has been filed. PASSED 50-0.

SB 152 (J. WARD) Repeals The Frozen Dessert Law in its entirety. PASSED 50-0.

SB 691 (YAW) Amends the Conservation and Natural Resources Act to editorially rename the Department of Environmental Protection to the Department of Environmental Services. OVER AS AMENDED.
          A00638 (YAW) Eliminates any cost burden the name change might have on the department by allowing the existing name on documents, contracts, materials, signage, computer systems, etc. until in need of replacement or updating. Deems references in statute to DEP as a reference to the Department of Environmental Services. ADOPTED 28-22.

SB 691 (YAW) Amends the Conservation and Natural Resources Act to editorially rename the Department of
Environmental Protection to the Department of Environmental Services. PASSED 28-22.

SB 202 (FONTANA) Amends the Municipal Claim and Tax Lien Law to allow cities of the second class and counties of

HB 739 (BOYLE) Amends Title 40 to create new cybersecurity-related requirements for insurers and allows the Insurance Commissioner to adopt national guidance exempting certain insurers from certain valuation procedures. PASSED 50-0.
