SB 792 (ROBINSON) Amends Title 35 (Health and Safety) to require PEMA to establish an Urban Search &
Rescue Task Force in Allegheny County. OVER AS AMENDED.

              A03452 (ROBINSON) Clarifies the urban search and rescue task force must be established by
              January 1, 2026, or 18 months after PEMA contracts with a sponsoring agency, whichever is later.
              Requires the Joint State Government Commission to establish an advisory board to conduct a study
              on the need, readiness and state of operations of Pennsylvania Task Force 1 and the
              Commonwealth’s urban search and rescue capabilities. ADOPTED 46-2.

SB 403 (BAKER) Amends the Engineer, Land Surveyor and Geologist Registration Law, to provide updates
to the practice of engineering, engineer interns, surveyors-in-training, while also allowing distance
education for professional development requirements. PASSED 48-1.

HB 1564 (CERRATO) Amends the Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional
Counselors Act to establish an associate license for marriage and family therapists and for professional
counselors. PASSED 44-5.
