Ward to Lead Senate Hearing on COVID-19 Impact on Pennsylvania Transportation System

Harrisburg – The Senate Transportation Committee, chaired by Sen. Kim Ward (R-39), will hold a public hearing Tuesday on the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the Pennsylvania transportation system.

The hearing, held via Zoom teleconferencing, will take place Tuesday, May 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

From the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the committee will hear from Acting Transportation Secretary Yassmin Gramian and Executive Deputy Secretary George McCauley.

Testifying from the PA Turnpike Commission will be Chief Executive Officer Mark Compton and Chief Operating Officer Craig Shuey.
