Harrisburg – Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati (R-25) and Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman (R-34) today welcomed Senator-elect Dave Arnold of the 48th Senatorial District to the Senate Republican caucus.
The 48th District includes all of Lebanon County and parts of Dauphin and York counties.
Senator-elect Arnold has served as Lebanon County District Attorney for 14 years. He also served as president of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association, a member of the Pennsylvania Sentencing Commission, and chairman of the Lebanon County Criminal Justice Advisory Board.
A lifelong resident of Lebanon County, Senator-elect Arnold is a 1989 graduate of Cedar Crest High School and holds a criminal justice degree from Kutztown University and a J.D. from the Widener University School of Law.
With the inclusion of Arnold, voters have given Senate Republicans a 28-21 majority in the State Senate, with an additional Independent member participating in the Senate Republican caucus.
