Senate Committees to Hold Hearing on Hospital, Healthsystem Preparedness

The Senate Health & Human Services Committee and Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness Committee will hold a joint public hearing on Wednesday (June 14) on the Department of Health: Hospital and Healthsystem Preparedness.

The hearing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in Hearing Room 1 in the North Office Building of the State Capitol Complex. The hearing will be streamed live at:     

Ray Barishansky, Deputy Secretary for Health Planning & Assessment with the Pennsylvania Department of Health; Richard Flinn, Jr., Director of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency; Tom Grace, Vice President for Emergency Preparedness with the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania; and Matthew Linse, Emergency Services Liaison for Saint Vincent Hospital/Allegheny Health Network Northwest Pennsylvania Health Care Coalition have been invited to participate in the hearing.
