Governor Signs Rafferty State Police Complement Bill Into Law

Legislation sponsored by Senator John Rafferty (R-Montgomery) that would clarify the way the State Police complement is calculated has been signed into law.

Rafferty said Senate Bill 579 specifies that troopers assigned to the Delaware River Toll Bridge Commission, Gaming Enforcement and Liquor Control Enforcement are not counted against the overall State Police complement.

“While this bill will not increase the overall State Police complement, it will ensure that troopers who are assigned to specific agencies and tasks are not included in the overall count,” Rafferty said.
