SB 398 (BROOKS) Amends the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act to authorizes fire companies with a small games of chance license to conduct up to two online raffles per year until December 31, 2026. PASSED 49-0.
SB 416 (ROBINSON) Amends the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act to allow licensed eligible organizations to accept payment via credit card, debit card, mobile payment service, or other electronic payment methods for the purchase of a raffle ticket. Requires an eligible organization to employ a method to verify that a purchaser of a ticket is at least 18 years of age and comply with related federal law. Prohibits holders of a tavern gaming license from accepting mobile payment for the playing of games of
chance. PASSED 49-0.

SB 467 (PISCIOTTANO) Releases Project 70 restrictions on land owned by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission in West Mifflin Borough, Allegheny County in exchange for the imposition of Project 70 restrictions on other land owned by West Mifflin Borough. SB 604 (BOSCOLA) Establishes the Counseling Compact Act to authorize the Commonwealth to join the Counseling Compact which provides for the interstate practice of licensed professional counselors. Preserves the regulatory authority of the current system of state licensure. Establishes the Counseling Compact Commission with one delegate from each member state to administer the compact. Allows the commission to levy an annual assessment on member states to fund operations and assist member states that fail to meet compact responsibilities. PASSED 45-5.
SB 877 (PENNYCUICK) Amends the Public School Code to make the Barber Training through Career and Technical Center Pilot Program permanent. PASSED 49-1.
