Senate Designates “Military Service Opportunity Month”


The Senate today adopted a Resolution introduced by Senator Randy Vulakovich designating September 2018 as “Military Service Opportunity Month” in Pennsylvania.

Senate Resolution 426 salutes the United States armed forces for its positive impact in providing valuable training in a variety of high quality and highly marketable job skills.

“Using the training supplied by the armed forces, service members are academically and professionally prepared for a multitude of careers including medical services, advanced cybersecurity, law enforcement, a full range of engineering fields, satellite technology, communications and network development, and logistical and administrative support,” said Senator Vulakovich, Chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness Committee.
