Governor to Sign Pippy Bill Expanding Sex Offender

Additional Provisions Protect Children from Predators,
Punish
Employers Who Shield Abusers
HARRISBURG -- Legislation
sponsored by Sen. John Pippy (R-37) that would greatly expand information on sex
offenders listed on the state Megan's Law web site, and impose criminal
liability of employers who fail to act on known abuses, will be signed into law
tomorrow.
The bill-signing ceremony will take place
Wednesday, November 29, at 3:15 p.m. in the Governor's Reception Room in
the state Capitol.
