Updated Senate Lobbyist Registrations & Reporting
Forms Available
HARRISBURG -- Updated
lobbyist registration and reporting forms for the 2005-2006 legislative sessions
are now available on-line through the Senate’s Legislative Date Processing
website or with the Secretary of the Senate.
The forms can either be
printed out and filled out manually, or saved onto a computer hard drive, so
they can be updated with relative ease. Hard copies of the forms are to be
filed in duplicate with the Secretary of the Senate. A list of the registered
lobbyists and principals can be accessed online at the website below.
In 1998, a lobbyist disclosure
reform law sponsored by Senator Robert C. Jubelirer (R-Blair) was enacted but it
subsequently was narrowly struck down by the courts. In 2003, the Senate
adopted a rule to require lobbyists to register and report spending for their
activities relating to lobbying the Senate. The Senate adopted the disclosure
rule again at the beginning of the 2005 session. It is the only lobbyist
disclosure requirement in effect.
The website address to access the registration
and reporting forms is:
