Senate Republican Leaders Remember Former Senator Charles Lemmond

"On behalf of the State Senate and a grateful
Commonwealth, we extend our condolences to the family and friends of Senator
Charles Lemmond. Senator Lemmond was a true gentleman, known for his
thoughtfulness, wit and wisdom. He was highly respected by his colleagues here
in the Senate for his honesty, fairness and dedication to doing the right thing
for the people of Pennsylvania. Charlie will be remembered for numerous
accomplishments, including helping community organizations, reforming elder laws
to protect the dignity of senior citizens, and championing living will
legislation. He was a dedicated public servant, a true friend and a delight to
have served with."
