Act 17 of 2011 restores fairness to the judicial system and prevents lawsuit
abuse by reforming the practice of joint and several liability so that
defendants are only responsible for paying only their share of damages in a

Act 67 of 2011 permanently establishes the Industry Partnerships Program as
part of the state's workforce development strategy, bringing together businesses
